Dixie Chick Emily Robison Divorced

Dixie Chick Emily Robison’s divorce became final on Wednesday in Texas. “We can confirm that the divorce is final,” a rep for the singer said. “They remain the best of friends and their family is obviously the priority.”

The San Antonio Express-News had reported that the Dixie Chick, 35, and her husband of nine years, singer Charlie Robison, 43, quietly filed for divorce in January and appeared at the Bexar County Courthouse Wednesday, when the split was finalized. According to the divorce filing, the marriage had “become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities.” The couple wed in 1999 and have three children: Gus, 5, and twins Julianna Tex and Henry Benjamin, 3.
