"Matthew was there the entire time," Alves, 25, tells Extra. "We went 14 hours with no epidural, having contractions every two minutes. It was the best dance we ever had.”
What's the biggest lesson she learned from giving birth?
"No matter what people tell you, you have to experience it yourself," she says.
The month-old Levi made his red carpet debut Thursday at a bash for Alves' new handbag line, MUXO, at Kitson in Los Angeles.
"He’s straight up his father," she tells Extra of their baby boy. "He has my lips, but he looks so much like Matthew. He’s a white boy.”
