Kids' Choice Awards Turns 20
A staggering 40 million votes were cast for this year's ceremonies. Who knew so many kids cared?
Surprisingly, male beefcake Justin Timberlake floating into the arena on a Nickelodeon blimp wasn't the highlight of the evening. Seeing him dressed in a tuxedo and an orange scarf drenched in the slime a couple of hours later was much more amusing.
And Justin wasn't the only one. Mandy Moore, Vince Vaughn, who enjoyed a google-eyed dual with Justin, and Rush Hour stars Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan also went home all goo-ed up.
Except for Mandy Moore, of course.
The actress/singer had the good sense to bring along a change of clothes. Even Hollywood starlet Nicole Kidman found herself slimed as she accepted the award for the animated movie Happy Feet, and she never lost that infamous Aussie smile.
Even Rihanna, who just debuted "Umbrella," the Jay-Z assisted single from her upcoming third album, was also on hand to show off her new boobs. Um, we mean bob.
What's the point of sliming everyone? Sure, it's fairly funny the first time but is old after 2 minutes. But we guess it must be amusing to kids, right?
