See More... Angelina Jolie is in talks to star in a movie originally intended for Tom Cruise, says Daily Variety. 'Edwin A. Salt' -- a title and script that will no doubt change if Angelina signs on -- is a thriller about a CIA officer who goes on the lam to prove his/her innocence after being labeled a spy.

Tom's negotiations to play the title character recently ended, the trade paper says, opening the door for an interested Angelina to star.

Knox and Vivienne's mom is certainly no stranger to the action hero trade, having top-lined heavy artillery blockbusters like 'Wanted' and 'Tomb Raider.'

Yes, yes, yes, this is my girl Angelina rocks in every thing she plays in, love her and Brad of course. I want to see them married for the sake of there kids it is just right in the eyes of our Lord Jesus Christ

This is seriously hilarious. Previously, I thought it wasn't even funny how dead Tom Cruise's post-scientology career has been, but this is a new low. Unfortunately, this is messing up Jolie's career, as she's basically been type-cast into these terrible roles (Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Tomb Raider, Wanted, etc). Her last real role was in Alexander, which was an awful movie.

tomb raider is a heavy artillery blockbuster?.....its a good movie, no more and no less, that being said Angie replacing Tom makes me think who's actually fit to wear the big boy pants.......booya!

She also starred in Mr. and Mrs. Smith yet another spy movie where she met and fell in love with Brad Pitt.

The main difference here is that that was a romantic comedy this new movie sounds like a serious spythriller. She should do good in the role.

uh I see that this artistic medium has really cute, a substitute the other, then they are doing films together.

speechless that both are successful, picture now a movie with Tom Cruise and Angelina Jolie ..........
