Tom Cruise was originally intended to star in a highly anticipated spy thriller called “Edwin A. Salt”, which tells the story of an American spy who is accused of working for the Russians and must remain on the run until they can prove their innocence. The movie was set to begin filming soon, and intended for released in early 2010.
Well, poor Tommy Boy has been booted with his own tiny shoes from the picture. Rumours are the studio gave him the old heave hoe because they didn’t think he makes a credible action star, and because Tom was demanding too much money.
Now that Tom has been shown the tiny little door that only he is able to fit through, the role has been offered to my Angie. The part is being rewritten just for her; because she is so super cool.
I’m excited to see this project, but we’ll have to wait a while. As well as changing the script, the designers will have to rebuild the set since they have taken down the miniature village they were planning on using for Tom.
