The 36-year-old Spice Girl says she’s self-conscious about her body, just like anyone else.
In the new issue of Britain’s Hello! magazine, the petite singer – whose weight has gone up and down over the years—shows off what she calls a “curvier” body, clad in a skimpy white bikini.
“People think I’m really confident but I do get self-conscious like many women about stripping off in public,” she tells the mag.
“I haven’t been willingly photographed in a bikini for seven years - and I don’t think I’ll do it again.”
Halliwell admits she got a “fake tan” to look better for the shoot and toned up beforehand.
But the redhead claims she still makes room in her life for junk food.
“’I don’t have a strict diet any more. I eat cake, crisps, sugar-free chocolate and chips if I want to. I can’t be bothered to follow a gruelling food plan. I’m a petite person and if I eat relatively healthily I’ll stay that way.”
Halliwell has a two-year-old daughter, Bluebell Madonna.
