Dane Cook Bashes New Movie (Poster)

Comedian Dane Cook is finding nothing funny about the poster for his upcoming comedy 'My Best Friend's Girl.'

"I'd like to inform you I had no say in this marketing campaign, but if I did, things would be different since it is obvious that this poster is boring/odd and has zero to do with the movie I performed in," Cook says on his MySpace page.

Cook goes on about everything from the graphics ("Whoever photoshopped our poster must have done so at taser point with three minutes to fulfill their hostage takers deranged obligations," he says) to his hair (It's actually a close up shot of Tom Selleck's 'Magnum P.I.' mustache they photo-slapped on my noggin'").

Cook does say that 'My Best Friend's Girl,' out September 19, is "the funniest film I've done yet," calling it an "edgy comedy with a dash of romance," and admits that "one poster stinking up the joint isn't the end of the world" but hopes it doesn't send the "wrong message" about the movie.

  • Can anyone tell me what brand the shirt "I sold my soul for rock n roll; the Devil Made Me Do It" Dane's wearing when he takes out Kate for the first time? I'd like to get it for my boyfriend...I know it sounds trivial but google hasn't helped much....
