See More... Should Jessica Simpson be worried? Country superstar and fellow blonde Carrie Underwood tells Allure magazine that Simpson's squeeze, Dallas QB Tony Romo, still calls her.

 

"The phone will ring and it'll be him, and I'll maybe not answer," she tells the mag, on stands Aug. 19. 

She also reveals the two were more friends than lovers.

"We were both small-town people doing very big things, and we relied on each other, dealing with fame."

Gorgeous Carrie's still single, but can be seen in a wedding gown and veil for her newest music video, "Just a Dream."

  • It funny that she claimes that he calls her and she doesnot pick up the phone. How does she know is him, since he change his number because she would harass him with her calls. She also you to call his family too. Tony's family loves Jess. They are very supporttive and happy witheir sons choice. Watch NBC5-Dallas 8-29-08 at 7:30 pm to see Mr. Romo. answer questions. and discuss some of these issues. He will also address some of the lies being told.

  • open your eyes people Carrie is saying "he is the one calling me" to tell everyone she is not chasing him. His name comes up on caller id. Its not too hard to figure out that both girls are getting played. Jess is crazy for Tony but Tonys heart still belongs to his bestfriend Carrie. Carrie seems tired of the whole thing like quit calling or let your actions reflect what you are telling me. Too much drama, Carrie or Jessica could pretty much have whoever they should both start looking. Tony is a player.

  • carrie doesn't want to answer his calls probably because she feels like she doesn't want to be in the middle of them it's been a 1 year and a 1/2 since they've dated she's over him. tony is denying this because he simply got caught so your telling me because tony denied it she's lying he's not God...it's her word against his it's unfair to call her a liar maybe he's the liar?? theres a lot of carrie hate on here perhaps these are all jessica simpson fans...i may be the only carrie fan on here but it seems like everyone wants to make her the bad one??? i think carrie is the better blonde and jessica is jealous of her success she's had 10yrs carrie 3yrs and carrie has more respect and success musically then jessica could ever imagine..."speaking for all carrie fans...we love you carrie"

    It was Jessica Simpson’s first attempt to win over country music fans this past weekend as she opened for Sara Evans at the Country Thunder USA festival in Wisconsin.

    It didn’t go so well.

    Jessica was booed by many at the concert, but there were a few fans in the mix as well.

    She told the crowd,

    “I don’t know what your perception is of Jessica Simpson or what tabloid you buy, but I just want you to know that I’m just a girl from Texas. I’m just like you. I’m doing what I love and dating a boy.”

    Yeah, yeah, we know. You can’t be without a boy for two seconds..

    Simpson dedicated “You’re My Sunday” to her ‘boy’ Tony Romo, who was there, and sang a ton of covers, such as Willie Nelson’s “On the Road Again.”

    One guy told the local paper, “I’ll have to drink a lot of beer to sit through her concert.”

    Her new album drops September 9th.

  • The real truth Carrie can not stand the fact that he didn't want her and Jessica and Tony are still going strong. They may even be planning marriage and family. This is what killing Carrie she wants what Jessica has. Jessica doesn't need any thing from Carrie cause she has a grat voice that God gave her. She has a big heart and you never hear of a hard word from her mouth toward even those who have hurt her oin the past.Carrie seem vindictive to me.

  • Hey Carrie, I guess you didn't get the memo. Jess and Tony are going stronger than ever. Their families are very supportive. The more you attack the stonger they get and weaker you become. People are starting to see the real you. I don't think they like it. You need to build your own life and stop trying to destroy everybody else. You need to ask God to foregive you. A lot of people will run from you now. Men don't like kiss and tell people.

  • this article was in may, and was ready to print in aug. jess-ho and romo were having problems in may so it is possible he wanted to reconnect with her...carrie didnt pick up because maybe just maybe she knows he's plaing games and doesn't want to be apart of it. just cause she's blonde doesn't mean she stupid like jess-ho. jess-ho is a b**** and an easy peice of a** thats why romo stuck around...it wont be long until he dumps this used and abused has been
