Rebecca Romijn wants to name one of her unborn twin girls Dolly. The Ugly Betty star is expecting twin daughters with husband Jerry O’Connell later this year and has decided to pay tribute to her favourite singer Dolly Parton,
“I have been a Dolly fan all of my life. She is a wonderful woman. I really connect with her music and I can’t think of a better role model for my children.”
Rebecca recently met the country singing legend last week and revealed her plan to Dolly who was thrilled to discover she had been inspiring baby names. Rebecca, 35, added that Dolly gave her blessing,
“Dolly has this great, sweet personality but she is also so strong and wise. I got her blessing. She was honoured I had chosen the name Dolly.”
Later, Dolly dedicated her song ‘Little Sparrow’ to Rebecca when she performed it during the show that evening at the ‘Backwoods Barbie’ show in Tennessee’s Dollywood theme park.
