Melanie Chisholm: Pregnant!

Melanie Chisholm confirmed that she's expecting her first baby with her boyfriend of six years, property developer Thomas Staron.

"Some happy news," she wrote on her website. "I can now announce that Tom and I are expecting a baby and we are very happy."

The former Spice Girl follows in the footsteps of her bandmates – Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton – all of whom have become mothers since the group broke up years ago.
