Sporty Spice Makes Big Annoucement!

Melanie Chisholm -- aka Sporty Spice -- announced on her Web site today that she and her husband Tom are expecting their first baby together.

"You all know how much I value my privacy so I'm sure I can rely on you to respect that, particularly at this time," she writes on her site. "I will be taking it easy but am also excited to star writing for the fifth album. I'll need some time off to be a mum, but before you know it, we'll be back."
