We love it when the rich and famous attach their names to bizarro projects in an attempt to make a quick buck. Beyond the quick-turnaround celebrity real estate trend, the clothing line trend, and the beauty products trend, is the deliciously bad business idea of celebrities starting their own restaurants.

Now, we understand if the person in question actually has real ties to the food industry or a notebook full of authentic recipes of their own to contribute. But the latest celeb turned restaurateur is the talent-less Tara Reid. Say what?

While Tara has invested in other dining establishments in the past (L.A.'s Bella, Geisha House and The Shore), her new fast food joint Ketchup is all her own. And, quite frankly, in the interest of Southern California diners, we wish it weren't.  We can't imagine who would actually want to eat someplace where Tara Reid is hanging out in the kitchen, much less touching their food.

Tara, who is still physically and emotionally recovering from all that bad plastic surgery, seems like a strange pick to start a fast food joint any way you look at it.   The D-list actress complained about her body contouring surgery by saying, "My stomach became the most ripply, bulgy thing." Somehow, we have feeling that her food will have the same effect.
