If Kim Kardashian truly is a member of this season's Dancing with the Stars cast - rumors have suggested as much, though the official announcement won't be made until tonight - most observers assumed the size of her rear end would be the main obstacle to victory.

Turns out they may have named the wrong body part.

According to TMZ, the reality TV star severely cut her foot in her hotel room last night. Kim reportedly sliced her foot open on a glass coffee table and was rushed to New York Presbyterian Hospital.

We're not sure about Kardashian's current state, or the number stitches she needed, but a source said there was "so much blood, it looked like a murder scene." Sadly, that may be an apt description.

Not being able to participate on Dancing with the Stars would kill any chance Kardashian has of establishing herself as a mainstream celebrity.
