The premise? Gomez — who could seriously pass for Rachel Bilson’s younger sister — is forced to don a tacky French maid’s uniform, sweep rich people’s floors and take orders from some scowly, jowly old lady. (It’s all totes tragic, in a heartwarming Maid In Manhattan-meets-Little Orphan Annie sorta way). Fortunately, where there’s a tween star, there’s generally a happy ending! Accordingly, Selena’s video wraps with a triumphant outdoor dance sequence (think Vanessa Hudgens‘ “Sneaker Night“) and preppy-punk gear that Avril would probably wanna borrow.
