New Video: Ben Affleck Lends Hand to Food Bank

"The Insider"'s Cheryl Woodcock goes one-on-one with Ben Affleck, who is flexing his political muscle in Denver by supporting charity causes during the Democratic National Convention.

 

Affleck talks about joining U.S. politicians and others to "help send hunger packing" by boxing up nonperishable food items for the local Food Bank of the Rockies program. 

Affleck headed to the food bank after participating in a poker tournament the night before in which he went up against some pro players to raise $100,000 for the Paralyzed Veterans of America. 

The politically-saavy actor said that one of the best things about being in town for the convention is being able to support such charitable organizations and bring attention to major global issues.
