  • I've always felt it was "time for a change" and now Barack has made even more of an impression. Atlanta, GA.

  • The U.S. in the future will be behind China and Russia because no one in the U.S. wants to do the sweat shop work. We depend too much on foreign countries to do the dirty work. The manufacturing industry here has slagged off in an exhilarating frequency that none of these presidential candidates for as long as I have become a U.S. citizen have knowledge and even have addressed this issue. That's why I have never voted for a president. I can't just simply be a part of this neglectful politics.

  • I truly believe that the American people need to listen and listen well about what's issues are being addressed. The communication skills of the American people need to be elevated to the point of differentiating between rhetorics, slogan's, etc. It is not about rhetorics, inspirational speaking, slogan such as "Change we can believe in," and so on and so forth, it is about valuing exactly how our votes matter in regard to long-term future of managing deficits the right way.

  • I am from Illinois. He is such a beginner .. he has not done anything significant to qualify him to be the leader of the free world. I am afraid he is a puppet to his high powered backers.

  • No I remain skeptical...particularly about Michele Obama. Her face during Hillary's speech betrayed her true feelings. It's no wonder Hillary was passed over for VP. We know who rules the Obama household...and it ain't Barack.

HIS VISION IS NOT LIMITED TO ONE COLOR OR ANOTHER! THANK GOD! I SEE THE LIGHT (BARACK OBAMA) GROWING BRIGHTER EVERYDAY AT THE END OF THE DISCRIMINATION AND MISSEGREGATION TUNNEL!

This is why I don't vote!! When were they lying? Then or now?
I think anyone in politics has a bit of a discusting life-style, as they can lie and say whatever they want to sound good.
    I vote for NO ONE!!@!

  • NO I will never vote for Obama. This man will turn the US into a 3rd world country. The media likes to compare him to hte Kennedys and Martin Luther King. Obama is not fit to be named in the same breath as JFK or RFK and even less with Martin Luther King. People need to look beyond the color of his skin and see the real Obama. He is dangerous to the well being of this country.

Just check the friends this pretend American has and how he swindled his opponents in Chicago.
A vote for him will put us all in the hands of the extremest!

if you listen to the sermons from the "Reverend Wright" that has been put in his head?

  • I think you should have a 3rd place to check.
IMO Celebs should not openly endorse Politians. Encourage everyone to vote, but keep their opinion quiet. For years I have chosen not to go to the movies if it has someone in it who has endorsed.

CONTAIN A DEEP HISTORY WITH D.C., THEN BIDEN HAS 40t YEARS WITH D.C. WHAT HAPPEN TO CHANGE AND NEW FACES, THIS IS WHAT HE PREACHES?

  • He hasn't swayed my vote at all. He and his team are just a machine, no substance. Look at his record, dig into his circle of supporters, past and present and you'll be surprised. He just spews change, change, change, change . . . sometimes change can be bad. I'm not a McCain or Bush fan and I feel like a lost American with the candidates put before us, so sad!

  • I am tired of having my country squeezed dry by a bunch of old, greedy men who only care about lining their pockets! Barack has children that I'm sure he wants to see live in a country in a lot better shape than it is now!

People who say he'll be an extremist are only full of fear! It's 2008--not 1954 for goodness sakes! It saddens me that folks boil it down to them against us. That is sooooo old school. We're all just people who want to have good lives where we can afford college, health care and a roof over our heads.

I wanted Hillary, but Barack is now my candidate. :)

  • He gives a nice speech, but so far, all these months, he says "Change", but does not say how. No solutions, just a promise for change. Right now, T. Boone Pickens has more to offer than Obama.

  • I am not sure about all the reasons the MCAIN people are talking about why he's the better candidate all I see is how they are hateful to a man (Barack Obama) that is only expressing how and why he believes in a better United States of America. See I wanting to see what Mr. Cain has to say before I make my mind up, I think its only fair to hear his talk before I start to say things that might come back to haunt me. Let the best man win, I just hope God helps us to choose correctly.

  • No. He scares me, even more after all his grandios promises. Who are his wealthy backers & what is their agenda? I am a registered democrat but can't go with him. Colin Powell would have been a fabulous choice as the first African American candidate.

  • Obama has not said or done anything to demonstrate he's ready for the presidency, and some of his actions during his very short time in the senate (such as opposing medical care for infants born alive to mothers who tried to abort them by inducing early labor) are morally reprehensible. The only direction Obama has swayed my vote is towards McCain.
    anonymous anonymous 8/29/08 Reply

  • Mcain is just an old rich man who knows nothing about American struggles.I was in the army and i dont think that makes me qualified to be president.

  • McCain all the way!! If Obama is elected, our country will be in deep peril. Obama's rhetoric does not match his record. People pay attention to the facts. Change for the sake of change is foolish. America, wake up!!

  • America, pay attention to what he does, not what he says. Pay attention to his ties to radical extremist hate groups & people like William Ayers, Reverend Wright, Louis Farakahn. Do research, the list is long...see more
