McCain Chooses Alaska Governor Sarah Palin for VP

Republican Presidential candidate John McCain has chosen Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to be his running mate.

Palin, 44, has been serving as Alaska Governor for just under two years, having previously served as city councilperson and Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska. The mother of five gave birth to her last child only months ago.
