On the 11th anniversary of Diana’s death, The Insider takes a look back in pictures at one of the most beloved and glamorous women in the world.

 

Diana died in a Paris car crash along with her companion, Dodi Al Fayed, on Labor Day weekend, Aug. 31st, 1997.

According to reports today in the British media, her sons Prince William and Prince Harry remembered their mum in private. Fans reportedly made their annual pilgrimage to Kensington Palace, her former home, leaving tributes tied to the front gates.

  • I can't believe that is has been 11 yrs already. I think they should leave her alone and let her rest in peace and let her sons grieve for her in private especially on the anniversary. She was taken to soon but, I believe that would have been very proud of her boys for the men they have become.
