Meanwhile, look who’s weighing in on Bristol Palin’s baby drama -- Lindsay Lohan!

Writing on her myspace blog, Lindsay says she doesn’t think the pregnancy of VP candidate Sarah Palin’s 17 year old daughter, Bristol, deserves all the press it’s receiving.

Lindsay writes, “I am concerned with the fact that Sarah Palin brought the attention to her daughter's pregnancy, rather than all world issues and what she believes she could possibly do to change them-if elected.”

“I think the real problem comes from the fact that we are taking the focus off of getting to know Sarah Palin and her political views, and what she can do to make our country a less destructive place.”

Lindsay also addresses Sarah Palin’s views on pro-life. “I get Sarah Palin's views against abortion, but I would much prefer to hear more about what she can do for our country rather than how her daughter is going to have a child no matter what.”

  • Please, this isn't anything new. The governor is human and has to deal with a teenager just like all of us with daughters. It shouldn't have anything to do with her election. It will not change my vote.

  • in reference to Palin's daughter being pregnant and unwed, I believe that "this is none of our business...and it should not make any difference in our votes.." Some people should get a live and leave personal matters ALONE.

    I AM STILL GOING TO VOTE MCAINN/PALIN..

    • Yes...Palin's personal life is "none of our business". However, if her own daughter doesn't respect her as a leader (by embracing strong opinions and beliefs; such as teen pregnancy and pre marital sex)... Why should our country respect Palin as VP? I will not vote for McCain/Palin

  • Concentrate on her family? Do you work? A woman, can do anything that any man can do. If it were a man and his teenage daughter were pregnant would you say the same thing? NO you wouldn't. A woman can work and raise a family. Its been happening for YEARS.

  • I cannot believe that the Democrats and the newscasters would fall so low as to lay this on a 17 year old's head.

    Put yourself in her shoes. You see your mother, who is supporting you and the mistake you made 5 months ago, offered the possibility of being VP and that could all be taken away from her because you were not careful enough. For the rest of her life she will blame herself for taking that chance away from her mother. It is not the publics place to condem her or her mother. It is a personal, family issue they are dealing with. It has no bearing on whether Sara can do the job of the VP or not. Lets get on with the program and leave their family out of it.

  • As Glen Beck said, the news media just likes to prey on news stories like this, when they should be reporting on the important issues -- but hey, it's sad that the news industries have already picked who they want to be president -- and it's clear that Mccain was not the one who was picked. Obama's socialist views make me sick -- if he becomes President, the once great America will fall down to its knees. Obama and his Vp pock have been consistantly wrong on Iraq, and yet ignorant Americans still follow his stupidity. It makes me sick.

  • Has anyone from the Democrats ever stopped to think that if something should happen to the president and the VP - Pelosi (speaker of the House) would take over and she has 6 kids. No one asked her how she qualified and how would she take care of her family.

    Also, I can tell that those who say Palin was not taking care of her daughter, has never had a teenage daughter....!
