‘Twilight’ Author Yanks Final Book In Protest
Stephanie Meyer, the author of the hugely popular “Twilight” and its string of sequels, has announced an indefinite hold of her next book “Midnight Sun” due to an unauthorized internet leak of the material.

Meyer, 34, announced on her website that she has a good idea of who leaked the draft of the book, explaining that a unique copy of the draft was released to a few number of trusted individuals for a good reason. 

“This has been a very upsetting experience for me, but I hope it will at least leave my fans with an understanding of copyright and the importance of artistic control,” Meyer wrote.

On releasing the book, the author added, “I feel too sad about what has happened to continue working on ‘Midnight Sun,” and so it is on hold indefinitely.

The author is making the incomplete draft available on her website because she says it adds insight into its prequel “Twilight.”

  • i understand she is sad about the leak but really doesn't she relize that all her fans who love the books and her for writing them shouldn't that make her happy enough to finish them?

  • I understand your point, however your books are so addicting I can hardly wait, you should name those indivials or indivual who ruin the book for the rest of us. He or She should be pointed out, and feel the embarrastment, as we feel frustation.
