Mackenzie Phillips Gone To Rehab

Further to our stories about her arrest HERE and subsequent posting of bail HERE the DA has charged Mackenzie with two felonies in connection with her drug bust last week.  She was charged with one count of felony possession of cocaine and another for possession of heroin. The DA tacked on a misdemeanor charge of unauthorized possession of a hypodermic needle or syringe … just for kicks.

To help with the charges Mackenzie has checked herself into rehab again, lets hope this time is the charm.  She has been in rehab nine times before.  Sadly it is unlikely that it will work.  Mackenzie has to make the decision she wants to get help, it appears the only reason she is going back is to make a good impression on the judge when her case comes up.  She is being represented by mega-lawyer Blair Berk.
