Katie Holmes runs out on Tom Cruise? On March 23, after Tom Cruise informed Katie Holmes she hadn’t been cheerful enough in public — yet another attempt to control her behavior — things took a surprising turn: Katie “ran out of the house,” says an insider close to the couple to In Touch Weekly

“She had to get away from Tom because it was like living in a pressure cooker. She couldn’t take it anymore.”

Last month, Star Magazine reported that , Katie, 28, started asserting herself too much for her husband's taste! First, she signed on to star in Mad Money, which starts filming in April in Shreveport, La., halfway across the country from the couple's Beverly Hills home. And, of course, she plans to take the baby with her, which doesn't please Tom one bit. "Tom probably feels that Katie has drifted from the path," explains a source.

As a result, the source says, Tom is asking her to get "retrained in the ways of Scientology." Given the rigors of the religion's retraining programs, sources say this is a grueling time for the Toledo, Ohio, native.

after turning up unannounced at Cruise's Beverly Hills home.
Leatherman claimed that the 'Top Gun' star's staff had given her permission

John Cusack won a three-year restraining order against a woman with the same
name and age last July, accusing her of showing an "unusual interest" in
him.

He claimed Leatherman threw love letters, rocks and screwdrivers into his
garden.
