Joely Fisher loves being a mom and stepmom

When Joely Fisher married cinematographer Christopher Duddy, she became a stepmother to his sons from a previous marriage, Cameron, 21, and Colin, 19, a role that she completely embraced. Being raised by a single mom, singer/actress Connie Stevens, the 'Til Death star says she was comforted by Christopher's active parenting.
The thing I struggled with most of my life was my lack of fathering so why not have a man who is extremely present as a father as a partner and I already know he can do it.
Now that she is a mom to daughters Skylar Grace, 5 1/2, and True Harlow, 14 months, she says motherhood is unlike anything she's experienced and has changed her outlook on life.
Becoming a mother is so profound and it's bigger than us, bigger than saying, 'You're a better human, a better woman, a better wife, a better actress.' It changes your perspective about everything in the world. I think becoming a mother put a huge gigantic magnifying glass on what's important.
