Could An Oscar Be In Mickey Rourke’s Future?

MICKEY Rourke is making a miracle comeback in “The Wrestler,” which just won the top prize at the Venice Film Festival. In the Darren Aronofsky-directed movie, which co-stars Marisa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood, Rourke plays a washed-up grappler getting back into the ring. Variety gushes that Rourke “creates a galvanizing, humorous, deeply moving portrait that instantly takes [its] place among the great, iconic screen performances.”
