Susan Lucci's 'Dancing' Exclusive!

Soap legend Susan Lucci is going toe to toe with contestants half her age on the new season of "Dancing With the Stars," debuting Sept. 22 on ABC, and we're in the dance studio with her and partner Tony Dovolani. Turns out, this grandma's got moves we've never even seen!

At 62, Susan will have to stay on her toes. She'll be competing against volleyball Olympic gold medalist Misty May-Treanor, singer Lance Bass, TV personality Brooke Burke, reality star Kim Kardashian, Olympian Maurice Greene, "Hannah Montana" star Cody Linley, singer Toni Braxton, actor Ted McGinley, master chef Rocco DiSpirito, comedian Jeffrey Ross, TV vet Cloris Leachman, and NFL champ Warren Sapp!

Because of that, she was thrilled to learn her partner would be Tony. "I called the producer and thanked her so much. I didn't know who I'd be getting!"

Of course, Tony's been a little distracted this week. His wife Lina went into labor with their twins Monday while he and Susan were rehearsing.

"The twins are here! They arrived early September 8th," he writes on his blog. "Susan shooed me out the door as soon as I got the call that it was time."

  • I agree with Cari Ann's comment last night about Toni Braxton being booted off before Cloris, who cannot dance at all. Cloris was funny to begin with but now she's downright annoying!
