Jennifer Hudson's dreams are coming true! The 'Dreamgirl' is engaged to be married to boyfriend, David Otunga!

According to People, David popped the question with a Neil Lane diamond ring on Jennifer's 27th birthday.

Otunga is best known as "Punk" on the VH1 reality show "I Love New York 2."

The couple has been dating for less than a year and the two are both from the big city of Chicago.

Jennifer's self titled debut album is set to release September 30.

  • Jennifer you put down American Idol, but if you had not been exposed on that show...you would be no where. There are a lot of more talented people out there but just haven't had the break you received with American Idol.
