It means the mother-of-two will be unable to have any more children and will now have to undergo an intense nine-week course of radiotherapy and chemotherapy to eradicate any remaining cancer cells.
Goody, 27, still under sedation at London’s Royal Marsden Hospital’s intensive care ward, was yet to be told the latest shattering news.
Her publicist Max Clifford had told MailOnline after the operation that she would be in intensive care for 24 hours.
A close friend of Goody’s told the Sunday Mirror: “It is not the news [the doctors] were hoping for but they believe they have removed all the cancerous cells and she has a decent chance of making a full recovery.”
The controversial Brit reality TV star received news of her cancer during a stay in the Indian Big Brother house. Jade left the show, and immediately flew back home to London for treatment.
