Britney's been trying to sell her Malibu mansion and has reduced the asking price from $13.5 million to $11.9 million, in the hopes of enticing buyers. The home was purchased by Spears shortly after she wed Kevin Federline nearly three years ago, and is a 9,000 square estate, including a pool, tennis court, gym, and garden. People reports:
But the house, which is in the exclusive gated Serra Retreat area where such stars as Mel Gibson live, may have priced itself out of the market for the moment, according to Kurt Rappaport, president of Westside Real Estate Agency, who does not represent the property."The pricing was aggressive," Rappaport tells PEOPLE. "It's an expensive piece of property and sophisticated buyers are looking for the best price."
All this house talk is really depressing me. I just did some major spring cleaning and recently cleaned out my closet, so that I could make room just in case I happen to find a new pair of shoes I'd like to purchase. My "home gym" consists of a pair of 5 lb. dumbbells and an exercise ball that I have to deflate once I'm done using it.
