Nick Jonas' Puppy Love

Spotted: Nick Jonas only had eyes for his new cute Golden Retriever puppy on Wednesday, as he carried the adorable ball of fluff, and a Target bag, around the L.A. area.


People mag reports that the doggie was a gift for Jonas' 16th birthday (which was yesterday) from his family -- and they also report that he named the pup Elvis!

Yesterday, the teen rock star and his brothers posted a new blog on their MySpace page that addressed their love lives. When asked if they would ever date a fan or someone that isn't famous they responded, "The answer is yes. We have already dated fans or girls that are not celebrities. In fact, we really like to believe that the girl we will spend our lives with will be our biggest 'fan.'"

But the boys aren't too keen on talking about who they're dating currently. "It is our rule to not talk about our personal lives, especially who we are dating. The same would be true if we were dating you."

The Jonas Brothers plan to continue answering fan questions on their MySpace blog titled Ask Us Anything.

In other Jonas Brothers news, Kevin, Joe and Nick are hitting the stage Saturday, October 25 for the celebrity charity gala Carousel of Hope. The proceeds from the gala will go to benefit childhood diabetes. Less than a year ago, Nick Jonas revealed that he has type 1 diabetes.
