Stunning new information is emerging in the dramatic arrest of father and son Ryan and Redmond O’Neal. A source close to the family tells "The Insider" exclusively that Redmond’s mom Farrah Fawcett was asleep in an upstairs bedroom when the police arrived to conduct a probation search at the O’Neal family home in Malibu.
Twenty-three-year-old Redmond was arrested for suspicion of narcotics Wednesday, along with his father Ryan O’Neal when additional methamphetamine was allegedly found in the elder O’Neal’s bedroom.
The source goes on to tell "The Insider" exclusively, “The drugs found in Ryan’s bedroom were not his. Ryan had confiscated those drugs from Redmond 2 or 3 months earlier, and was only keeping them away from his son. He was being a responsible father.”

Frarrah can't run away from Ryan, however. She has cancer. She also is Redmond's mother and no mother in her right mind would leave her son, especially when he's in trouble. And Ryan and Farrah were together for 17 y ears so I'm not sure leaving Ryan is the best idea. This is a perfect example of a highly dysfunctional family but if they stick together and try to unravel whatever has screwed them all so much, they may have a slight chance.
The one I feel sorry for is Farrah. God only knows how she's doing with her cancer treatment. You don't really hear to much on her lately. I hope she's well. Always loved Farrah.
Farrah needs to pick up and run far away from Ryan. He's trouble and really doesn't seem to be helping Farrah.
