“Did you see it? … It was extraordinary,” Tom proudly told the Associated Press at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in New York.
Katie’s debut drew hundreds of audience members, who gasped just as Tom made his way into the show moments before it began and reportedly hugged fellow film star Dustin Hoffman in the theater, says the AP.
Katie received a standing ovation after the performance, the AP reports.
“All My Sons” also co-stars John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson.
The production officially opens on Oct. 16.
