Sharon Stone Loses Custody of 8 Year Old Son
Sharon Stone lost physical custody of her eight year old son, Roan Joseph Bronstein, to her ex-husband, Phil Bronstein. On September 12, a Supreme Court judge ruled that Roan will live in the Bay Area with his father.

“The court does not find that (a) move away is in child’s best interest,” say the minutes. “(Bronstein) can provide a more structured continuity, stable, secure, and consistent home that child, Roan, needs.”

Stone “shall have access to child,” the minutes say, and her phone number “shall be programmed into the child’s telephone and home phone.”

Bronstein, 57, and Stone, 50, married in 1998. They adopted Roan and divorced in 2004.

The former couple maintained joint custody of Roan since their split. Sharon later adopted two more boys on her own, Laird Vonne Stone, 3, and Quinn Kelly Stone, 2.
