Jordin Sparks Sticks Up for the Jonas Brothers
Jordin Sparks was at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards to present an award but did so much more than that. The 18-year old American Idol champ spoke out against host Russell Brand for making jokes about the Jonas Brothers and their purity rings. She told the crowd “I just have one thing to say about promise rings. It’s not bad to wear a promise ring because not everybody – guy or girl – wants to be a .” Way to stand up for others! Some people just don’t know what’s alright to joke about and what needs to be taken seriously.

  • Way to go jordin. She made the right decision. Russell Brand is a Prick. He Hasn't Heard of shampoo, condtioner, Hairbrush, soap, or common sense he knew his comments would upset people

  • Nice one Jordin! I look up to the Jonas Brothers and I think they are very good examples. It's nice to know that there are still people who know how to respect themselves. Good job JB!
