Paris Hilton Fails to See The Funny Side

Paris Hilton used her last two brain cells long enough to figure out that the publicity she gets doesn’t actually show her in the best light. That’s the only real reason I can see for her wanting to sue everyone lately. First MTV, now this:

Paris Hilton’s lawyers weren’t happy with a drawing that the brilliant 14 of Gallery of the Absurd made. The brilliant piece of art featured Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie in a spoofed version of The Simple Life poster.

As Page Six reported this morning, her lawyer sent Dlisted and Gallery of the Absurd letters demanding we remove the spoof. He argued, “This poster clearly implies Ms. Hilton has loathsome diseases and also implies Ms. Hilton uses Vicodin. The inferences . . . are false and defamatory.”

(From Dlisted.com)

Michael K from Dlisted is not taking the threat lying down, and he has made it crystal clear that the opinions on his blog are based on facts that he and everyone in the damn universe already know.

Did Paris actually think that those eighty thousand odd people who subscribed to ParisExposed.com suddenly get amnesia and forget she had Vicodin prescriptions written in her name? Or the fact that if they Googled the words “Paris, Hilton, Crotch” they will find a plethora of lady garden pictures I am sure not even her gynecologist has had the privilige of seeing without an online subscription?

Maybe Paris has finally figured out that not all the publicity is she has had in the past has been good publicity. Hopefully, she will have an epiphany and realise soon that NO Paris publicity is good at all for us, too.

Thanks to The Evil Beet for the header picture. Here’s Gallery of the Absurd’s illustration that caused all the fuss.
