The 42-year-old superstar was rushed to a hospital moments just before she was to take a Montreal stage for a performance, according to a statement from her rep.
"Janet Jackson's much anticipated concert in Montreal, as part of her Rock Witchu Tour, had to be canceled after the superstar entertainer got suddenly ill during her sound check earlier today and had to be rushed to the hospital just before showtime. She is currently being monitored and is extremely disappointed that she is not able to perform for her fans in Montreal. Tonight’s performance would have been Janet’s first appearance in the city in seven years. She is hoping that seat holders will retain their tickets. The promoter is working with the Bell Centre to announce a rescheduled date with details to be announced shortly."
