She may be out of the hospital, but Janet Jackson's recovery from an unknown illness is forcing her to postpone two dates on her "Rock Witchu" tour.

Janet's concerts in Boston (Oct. 1) and Philadelphia (Oct. 2) will be rescheduled, the star's rep tells "The Insider." The tour will resume in Greensboro, NC, this Saturday, Oct. 4.

On Monday, the 42-year-old singer suddenly fell ill before a scheduled concert in Montreal and was rushed to a hospital earlier in the day during a soundcheck. Info on the rescheduled concert dates will be released as soon as possible.

  • You are one sick, star struck, hound. Why would she want somebody's husband and someone like you; a liar, a whore, an impersonator, oh and did I say a LIAR. Man, you live on Denker Ave. in L.A. Man I know you and you need to get some mental help. My sister was one of your victims and you are lucky I did not come after your old ass. Your dirty penis is going to kill you and somebody one day. You should be reported to the health department and the sherrif department.

  • At least the rest of you so called fans had somewhat of a "headstart "about her shows being postponed! How would you feel if you arrived at the venue (in montreal), where the event was supposed to be held, 10 MINUTES before hand, to find the venue on complete lockdown with no reason why.Only to find out from other bewildered fans standing outside the venue ,who called the"ticket office", that the concert was cancelled for "unknown reasons ", that's what I called unprofessionalism!

  • I spent over $540 for two tickets to the Sunrise, Florida show only to have it cancelled. It was for a night when both my girlfriend and I didn't have to work which is an unlikely event in and of itself. No doubt something will come up where we can't go now. Thanks, Janet! Maybe you should take some tips on professioanlism from your brother.

Yes you are entitled to your private life, but you had a lot of ppl spending money in these trying times to get ready to see Ms.JJ. only to find out that she has once again cancelled a show with no regards to fans. If your sick cancell all together. I'm a single parent and I sacraficed big time to see you. Just acknowledge your fans and remember who all got you where you are.

  • hey everyone,

Beware of Janet Jackson's "rock withchu" tour. My wife and I had friends drive down from Richmond to Greensboro to see her and LL Cool J only to find out two (2) hours before the concert that it had been cancelled!!!! Well...........what a WASTED trip My sympathies to the workers who had to endure the grief, it wasn't their fault.
Janet you owe us an apology

    • Well we probaly stayed at the same hotel in greensboro. We drove from savannah only to get to the venue to get turned around. It was my neice's 18th birthday and was suppose to be a surprise to see Janet because she is a die hard Janet fan and she was so upset and cried for hours. So I really feel she owe us an apology for the time, and the heartache!

  • the post before me is completely absurd. people get sick!!! or maybe i'm the only one that has ever missed a day of work because i didn't feel well. yes it's unfortunate, but it happens. i had tickets to the show and was disappointed, but she postponed the show she didn't cancel...which means that we still will get to see the show and the her crew, as if that's what you're really concerned about, will still get a days work on the show.

    • What are you thinking?! Of course this is an ongoing routine for Janet. Ticket sales suck so to save face, the shows get canceled. You thought it would be postponed ... but you were wrong again.

  • She always does this -- every concert tour. It's either exhaustion or some other "illness" reason. There are tons of people that work on a concert tour. When these shows are cancelled, it costs lots of money -- it's no joke. This was the first tour that I purchased tickets for and of course, I had that funny feeling that she'd probably get "sick" and guess what, she did! Go figure! She needs to take care of herself before committing to these major concert tours. It's not all about her -- there are others on the road with her and they are dependent on their jobs! C'mon Janet! Get better, get yourself in shape, and commit to your job as a star or get out of the business. You let your employees down and your fans!

  • In the media, there has been rumored that Janet has an eating disorder. All in all, she’s caused quite a stir with her yo-yo diet, amazing abs and different tips to keep in shape. Janet’s workout, designed by Tony Martinez, her personal trainer, is a very intense one. Her routine includes: upper body work and legs, twice a week, 5-6 days of cardiovascular exercise, from running, to basketball and kickboxing. Obviously, the workout includes 3 days of abs training, and rough, I assume. I read about this at projectweightloss.com
