Halle Berry And "Parade" Magazine Are Slap-Fighting

Halle Berry is getting into it with "Parade" magazine . They ran an interview with her in which they mentioned that damn suicide story again and Halle got pissed. "Parade" is shooting back. "Parade" was always this wholesome Sunday morning type publication. You know, the smell of frying bacon and realizing that "Marmaduke" isn't funny? And now they're getting hardass and battling celebs? It's like childhood's end!


Now PARADE has issued a response to Halle's critique saying, "All of the quotes in the April 1 PARADE profile on Halle Berry came from a candid sit-down interview between Ms. Berry and PARADE writer Emily Listfield on January 25, 2007. Ms. Berry talked very freely (on tape) about the challenges she has faced in her life, including her failed marriages and suicide attempt. It is unfortunate that Ms. Berry has chosen to respond to media interest by backing away from what she originally told PARADE. Anyone who actually read the article is sure to see it as a very positive profile of a strong woman who has overcome many challenges in her life and is now on a clear path to happiness."

Halle claimed it was "regurgitated". It sounds like she read the interview and realized she was flogging that old story again and did some backpedaling. But it's 2007, and "Parade" will shank you in the shower, Halle!
