Sienna Miller Sues UK Tab, Wins Over $26,000

Sienna Miller has won over $26,000 in damages in a settlement over a paparazzi photo published in the Daily Star, the BBC reports.

The actress took action over photos snapped in Los Angeles, which the 26-year-old said violated her privacy.

Published in early September, the photo shows Sienna trying to cover her face and evade over a dozen paps inside the lobby of an L.A. building while waiting for an elevator. Video taken reportedly shows that she is close to tears during the mob scene.

In addition to the out-of -court settlement, the Daily Star printed an apology, saying it accepted that she was "extremely harassed and distressed by persistent pursuit and intimidating tactics" adopted by the paparazzi.

"We apologize to Sienna for publishing this photograph," the paper added.

  • Now let me get this straight.. SM or her mummy Jo call the paparazzi and then she sues because the pictures are published and then they award her money and apologize! She must be splitting the money on the side with the photographer ! What a scam this is! I hope she can now afford some clothes to cover her very used body and some soap to wash out that trashy mouth!!
