Smoke Jumpers was originally directed by Ron Howard?

This was the "Original" movie poster from Smoke Jumpers, before they pushed back the release date to December 16, 2008. Looks like Ron Howard was originally signed on when Universal had the film. As we all know, Warners ended up running with this film, which stars Edward Norton, VIncent Chase, Charlize Theron and Steve Buscemi. Ridley Scott ended up bringing his vision to screen and delivered a firefighting scene like no other director could!

Don't miss this blockbuster when it hits theaters later this year! This one is sure to please the entire family!
