Rosie O’Donnell to Host Variety Special

Rosie O'Donnell has a new variety special set to air live from NYC the night before Thanksgiving, and it's said to be full of surprises!

Variety says that "Rosie's Variety Show" will run for an hour and feature celeb guests, musical performances, comedy bits and a contest for audiences in the studio and at home.

And most tantalizing of all, the trade paper speculates that the variety show could become a “regular TV gig” for the comedienne, who proved a sensation on ABC’s "The View" and once hosted her own talk show, “The Rosie O'Donnell Show.”

    Most of the 3000 channels I get now stink and it will be "refreshing" to have an old-time type show on we grew up...
