Elisabeth Hasselbeck Not Leaving 'The View'

Despite recent rumors, a rep for Elisabeth Hasselbeck tells "The Insider" that she’s not leaving ABC’s morning chatfest “The View.”

"While Elisabeth has a great relationship with Fox News, there is absolutely no truth to the rumor that she is leaving ‘The View,’” her rep said. “Elisabeth is passionate in her beliefs and enjoys being a part of this dynamic group of women and engaging in daily conversations."

In addition, a rep for ABC said, "Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie, executive producers of 'The View,' consider Elisabeth to be vital to the program.”

Political passions have run high on the program in recent weeks, as the presidential election approaches and the “View” hosts’ opinions span the political spectrum.
