Oh Simpson! O.J. found guilty of armed robbery
The verdict is out! Former Buffalo Bills football player, O.J.Simpson, is guilty on all twelve felony counts for armed robbery and kidnapping in Las Vegas. The verdict comes on the 13th anniversary of another case in which he was charged with the murder of his wife and her boyfriend and later acquitted.
O.J.Simpson and five other men have been charged with entering a Las Vegas hotel room and taking possession of several game balls and photos with force. Two men who accompanied Simpson were carrying guns. Simpson, in his defense, said that he was trying to recover his stolen items and that he had no knowledge about his associates carrying guns. Though one of his associates testified that Simpson had asked him bring a gun along.
The verdict was announced by a jury of nine women and three men. Simpson and co-defendant Clarence Stewart may get a minimum of 15yrs in jail. The sentence is due till December the 5th.
Mr. Simpson we do have to abide by the laws of the land and the law doesn’t permit entering other peoples’ property with guns to take our stolen items back!
