As he is finding more success and selling more albums day-by-day, the former American Idol finalist hopes that translates into a bigger budget for his next tour so his family can join him.Nothing is the same anymore. The only thing that is still the same is that I still have my wife and my kids. This is what I’ve always wanted to do so I’m not complaining at all. With any job, there is something that sucks about it. The thing about this is that I don't get to see my wife and kids. This is the first tour, so this is how it has to be as far as touring conditions go.
This isn't the type of tour for kids to be there. Maybe on the next tour when we are in bigger rooms they can be there.
Distance only makes the heart grow fonder for Chris and Deanna too. He says they have only gotten closer now that they're apart.
I think me and my wife are closer than ever now that we don’t see each other. I try to talk to my kids as much as I can through the week. We are doing the best we can throughout the week.
