Queen Latifah Speaks Out on Gay Rumors

Stars Show Support for Jennifer Hudson
Queen Latifah says she doesn't discuss her private life or her sexuality. "I don't feel like I need to share my personal life, and I don't care if people think I'm gay or not."

She told Alex Witchel of the New York Times, "Assume whatever you want. You do it anyway."

When asked about the rumors of a supposed romance with her personal trainer, Queen responded, "I don't have a problem discussing the topic of somebody being gay, but I do have a problem discussing my personal life. You don't get that part of me. Sorry. We're not discussing it in our meetings; we're not discussing it at Cover Girl."

The singer-actress currently stars in 'The Secret Life of Bees' that hits theaters October 17th.

  • i believe that it is her choice and if she is gay or not i will always be a true fan of hers nd will admire her as a celebrity who has left a positive imapct on people and has done things for the community. unlike the other rich stuck snobs like paris hilton who doesnt care about anyone other than herself and is spoiled rotten. bottom line is that gay or not she is a truely good person.   • Whether she is or isn't, who should be worried about--her? This is between her and God, no one else. It is her personal life and she should be entitled to her privacy. We all know that God is real and I am sure she does to, but this is a decision that she has to make--we can't make it for her. If you are concerned about her, pray for her and leave it in God's hands. Prayer reached where words cannot. God can work any form of miracle.
