See More... Madonna is once again stirring up controversy, this time for taking swipes at VP nom Sarah Palin.

According to Us Weekly, the singer repeatedly heckled Palin at her show in NYC while performing "I Love New York" -- in which the lyrics "get off my street" are part of the chorus -- she reportedly said, "you know who can get off of my street? Sarah Palin! I'm gonna kick her ass if she don't get off of my street!"

They report she also mocked the Alaska governor's accent and sarcastically told the crowd, "I love her."

Previously, the New York Post wrote that Madonna slammed Palin just days earlier during her set at the Meadowlands in Jersey by saying, "Sarah Palin can't come to my party! Sarah Palin can't come to my show. It's nothing personal."

While I believe that Madonna is a very real, very thinking human being, regardless of her celebrity, I've noticed that Hollywood is notoriously Democratic in general and she's made her opinion clear. This should not, however, affect the thinking of her fans. It's alright to disagree, this is America and that's why we vote. I give the most respect to those celebrities who choose NOT to voice their opinions when it comes to particular candidates. When it comes to the issues, talk all ya want, do a controversial video, go hog wild, I don't care. But when endorsing candidates, you aren't speaking as one of the rest of us, you're influencing people. You may be right in your choice but only time will tell. What if you're wrong?

  • I am sure if anyone has seen the Sex book Madonna put out in 1992 would see her for what she really is. I don't think Sara Palin would want to go to her concert or even like Madonna or care what she thinks about anything. . I can't believe Guy Ritchie would even marry someone like her. Her book proves she has no morals! It is truly funny that she would think anyone would listen to anything she has to say about anything. Adopting a baby doesn't redeem herself in my eyes at all.
