Suitable from about 6 months of age, the stage also features catchy music, a removable microphone rattle, pop up "friends" in the audience, two volume levels, a song select button, applause, cheers and vocal scats. My daughter enjoys seeing herself in the mirror, pushing all the buttons, seeing the lights and hearing the music, while my son, almost 3, likes singing along to the music and dancing around.
There are two modes of play: "sing along" and "build an instrumental song". There are 5 songs and 3 dance tunes which include "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes," "If You're Happy and You Know it," "The Peek-a-Boo Song," and "What Do You See" -- which was our personal favorite. The tunes were so infectious that it got our whole family dancing.
