Bristol Palin's Boyfriend Opens Up about Wedding & Baby

Bristol Palin's boyfriend and baby's father Levi Johnston responds to reports of being forced into a shotgun wedding. "None of that's true," Johnston told The Associated Press. "We both love each other. We both want to marry each other. And that's what we are going to do."

The 18-year-old says marriage has always been in the cards for the couple. "We were planning on getting married a long time ago with or without the kid," he said. "That was the plan from the start."

Levi is looking forward to his summer wedding and his new journey into fatherhood! "I'm excited to have my first kid. It's going to be a lot of hard work but we can handle it."

He adds about having a son, "I'm going to take him hunting and fishing. He'll be everywhere with me."

As for who he's routing for in this Presidential election -- Levi says Barack Obama seems like a "good guy" but his support lies with John McCain and Sarah Palin!

"I just hope she wins," he said. "She's my future mother-in-law. She better win."

  • I think this wedding is the pressuring of Sarah and her husband. I think they are to young to be married raising a child at there age is hard enough without adding marriage to it. It is wrong and the kids should wait.

  • levi sound like a lovely young man, but to me he is saying what the palins telling him to say, because if he dose'nt he might not see his child when he or she is born.
