Video: Stars Align for a Good Cause & Weigh-In on Madonna's Divorce

A powerful pack of stars emerged in Santa Monica, Calif. Wednesday night for the 2008 Spirit of Life Award gala, which honored Universal Music Group CEO Doug Morris and raised money for City of Hope, a cancer treatment and research center.

"The Insider" caught up with the night's biggest stars, who weighed-in on Madonna's split from husband Guy Ritchie. Plus, Lionel Ritchie opens up about daughter Nicole Ritchie's motherhood and reveals his secret nickname for his granddaughter Harlow!

"Nicole is as happy as she can be now, and the mouse [Harlow] is just the light of the family," Lionel tells "The Insider."

All the Hollywood chaos aside, the night's main focus for the stars was raising money for City of Hope and honoring Universal's Morris for his service to the community by helping those in need.
