Around 56.5 million viewers watched Wednesday’s Presidential debate, despite the fact that Fox didn’t even air it, choosing instead to air an MLB playoffs game.

This is less than watched the second debate, which didn’t conflict with baseball, when 63.2 million viewers tuned in.

Both these numbers pale in comparison to the 70 million Americans who tuned into the Vice Presidential debate, hoping Joe Biden would make Sarah Palin cry.
