Adam McKay -- the writer-director of “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” and “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby” -- is set to run the production, says the paper.
Previews of the production, which will likely have humor and content about President Bush, will begin on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, before the Feb. 1 opening at the Cort Theater, Variety reports.
Ferrell and McKay’s hit-making team is also behind the wildly popular Funny or Die website.
